Buff Moving and Storage

Not a good experience at all! They damaged the finish on my black upright piano and didn’t lay any protection on the flooring of my stair landing so damage was done there as well as they dragged my piano across the flooring. They promised to pay for the repair of the piano and for the $200 I was charged for the floor at my rental unit but after sending them paperwork for the completed repairs they kept making excuses and have not paid me yet. I would not recommend this company and wouldn’t trust them to keep their word on anything. Use a different moving company.

Sent deposit to book for Tuesday a week in advance. Texted and left voicemails for for 2 days before with no response to what time they would show up on the Tuesday. Finally got the call at 1030pm on Monday only after my GFs mother tried calling them from her phone to get them to call me.

They didn’t have me in their books and told me they would be there for 7pm. Showed up at 730.

Went to plug in my 2 year old 70” tv and found it to have a cracked screen.

When I called them they wouldn’t accept the blame and suspiciously had told me that TVs weren’t insured unless in their original boxes right after they had loadedIt

Do not use this company!!!! (Unless you just want to throw away money and do the job yourself anyway) I contacted Jeff in September to hire him for a move for today at 9 am. I booked and paid the deposit within a couple days of the initial contact. He texted me this morning at 7:50 am to let me know someone was sick and that he would have to do it in the afternoon. I texted immediately asking what time, with no response. I called every half hour for 4 hours and he did not answer. Finally at 2:30 I messaged and emailed him saying that he can give me my deposit back by 4 or I would make my complaints to the police fraud unit and also consumer protection. He IMMEDIATELY messaged back saying that he was just waiting to pick someone up and they would head over. I said I would rather just have the deposit and not deal with him. He then said he would send the deposit right away. I have not received anything. Still waiting Jeff.

Beware of this Company

Since this company BUFF Moving doesn’t get point of shoving 3 people in a cab and going in and out of people’s house is NOT physical distancing that is required by all companies big or small at this time

I usually don’t care to take this shit to Facebook but the responses I got from these guys was nuts

I confronted them and told by the driver to my mind own business and to go F•CK myself even though according to rules and regulations its the operators (driver) responsibility to insure safe physical distancing to operate and they didn’t or I should say he didn’t but they were all jumping in and out of the truck like nothing is going on in this world right now and then they pulled this huge truck across the whole street and sidewalk so no one could get by

We been helping out this lady who has no legs and is in a wheelchair and had nothing and asked if we can help and have stuff to spare like food and toiletries, thankfully I am able to do so, so I did, told her we would drop it off and keep our distance but she insisted she would charge up her wheelchair and come for a ride and get out and just stay away from us and people

So we said ok and she asked to leave stuff outside so we did

Then these guys pull up and block it all street and sidewalks, Streets are flooded with water and ice ruts and all underneath so it’s slippery as hell and huge snow banks along my street and this poor lady seen this huge truck from a far and had no choice but to go down the back alley so guess where we found her, stuck in the back alley in a rut, when I asked these guys not to put their ramp there as we knew she was coming and again was told to F•CK myself

Left a Facebook review and he had it deleted and or blocked me

Well I wonder why ?

Of course on his page I was under attack from his friends and stuff even called a troll

Makes me think ? that probably 90% of his reviews are family & friends

Seems he doesn’t understand that if you are in operation that all BUSINESSES are to INSURE 6 feet between staff and customers at all times

And 3 guys in a single cab is not 6 feet

That’s 3 guys within 6 feet and letting customer come up to the truck not to mention the people walking dogs, getting fresh air then struggling to get by this ramp and truck and stay out of puddles

The whole world has made sacrifices

And this company should abide by the rules and regulations put there for all OUR safety

And I can tell you for a fact these guys had ZERO protective gear and anything to protect themselves or customers

Handling people’s goods with no gloves

I know at my work, I can’t even touch a box the same day, must sit for 24 hours first minimal

And I’ll add he doesn’t believe me about the lady in wheelchair, I not sure if he wants me to ask to take a pic of her stubs cause she has no legs, kinda degrading don’t you think ??

She feels low enough getting stuck in the back alley and crying out for help.

I booked Buff Moving a month in advance of my move Monday Nov 1 2021 for 9am and sent over my $150 deposit. At 8:55 am on November 1st, I get an email from him saying he had truck trouble and would need to come by later. I was moving out of an apartment, so had strict time restrictions around when I needed to be out, which I communicated to him. He then was completely non responsive until around 12pm when he asked if he could come Tuesday or Wednesday instead. I told him that I could not do that and needed to be out by 3pm that day. Again no response. I ended up finding a last minute mover and had to pay a premium to make it work. I informed him I was cancelling his services around 2pm because he did not show up for it and I wanted my deposit back. His movers called me at 4pm to find out the address, but by then I had already moved out, so I informed them (as he clearly had not) that it had been cancelled. Jeff (the owner) apologized and said he would return my deposit that evening after hours of me calling, emailing and texting. It is now Thursday November 4th and he is again unresponsive and has not returned my deposit. It's been a horrific experience, adding so much added stress to an already incredibly stressful day.

Buff Moving is a scam and the owner is a thief. Do not use them if you actually need to move because they will not show up and will just steal your deposit. I feel sick that I trusted this "company" to do their job.
